Prairie Wild™ engages students and teachers in the world around them, using hands-on, cross-curriculum, environmental science curricula. Our settings include outdoor areas at schools across The Plains and North Central Texas, indoor and outdoor classrooms at CSAC, and real ecosystems and habitats on our 700-acre campus (e.g., a prairie dog town, a beaver dam and lodge, an ornate box turtle outdoor habitat / preserve, wildlife trails and dens, etc.).
