Bowen Lodge is located on the ridge overlooking Crowell from the east about half way between Comanche Springs and Crowell on US-70.

 

Crowell to Bowen Lodge

Driving Distance: 9.3 miles Time: 13 minutes
 

Distance Instruction
0.0 Depart Main St, Crowell on US-70 [Commerce St] (West) for 7.2 mi
7.2 Bear right (north) through the Bowen Ranch gate just after the top of the ridge. Continue on the
 gravel ranch road through several cattle guards for 1.9 mi.  Watch for cattle!!!!
9.1Turn right (East) on the lodge road for .02 mi.  The lodge, stables, and corrals are visible at the turn.  If you start going down a long hill, you've gone too far.
9.3Arrive at Bowen Lodge.  Please park in front, near the porch.

Remember - Watch for cattle, deer, and pigs!  They roam freely on the road!
